One of the most visited by visitors and locals, this beach is ideal for bringing the entire family for swimming and beach sports, amazing sunsets, and an extremely romantic walk in the golden sand. Along its approximately 1.5 kilometers, you can find enchanting hotels and also restaurants serving delicious, fresh food and invigorating drinks. Don't forget to visit the cliff called "El Eslabón", which is located at the north end of the beach and is a good spot for diving practice and molusk harvesting.
The name of this beach originates from when a Chinese ship was sunk in the bay and the tides covered the beach in silks and other fine merchandise that was part of the cargo.
