Crocodile Reserve, Playa Linda Ixtapa
The natural enviroment is one of the best attractives of Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo; The crocodile reserve located in playa Linda Ixtapa is a good spot to watch also iguanas, turtles, many birds and other species, some years ago there was a man who feeded these saurians; if you are lucky will see there to Tamakún the "Crocodile's king".
Birds like roseate spoonbill, seagull, chachalacas (a kind of mexican hen), herons, parakeet and many others you will appreciate in this ecological reserve. During May to June you will see the new born squabs are just growing their first feathers.
